After alot of rumours involving Chester City, and the players they may be bringing in, Ian Rush has closed his transfer window. Chester have reacently signed Liverpool youngster Robbie Foy on loan and Ashley Sestanovich on a one month trial contract, whilst other players including Tranmere Rovers players, Alan Navarro and David Beresford have been linked with the club. But today, Ian Rush has come out and told the waiting press that Chester won't be signing any more players this season.
This is slightly worrying, as if Chester can lose 5-0 with these players, surely that means they need some new players, esspessially strikers, as Chester have only scored in two of their last nine games.
Some other bad news from the Chester camp which has come to my attention is that Chester apparently have the highest wage bill in League Two - speaks for itself really!
