Glen Hoddle has added quality to his Wolves team by signing ex-Spurs midfielder Rohan Ricketts and Scottish full-back Jackie McNamara from Celtic. Rab Douglas is another Celtic player heading south of the border as he joins Leicester for the new season.

Yorkshire Rivals Leeds have bolstered there squad with the transfers of Rob Hulse (£1.1m), Steve Stone and Eddie Lewis from Premiership teams, while Plymouth have made the shock signing of Nigerian Taribo West to accompany Rufus Brevitt, Bojan Djordjic and Anthony Barness in their new look team.
