Belles 2 – 0 Bristol City Ladies

Doncaster Ladies got an important 2 – 0 victory over Bristol City Ladies in their quest to avoid relegation.

The win was very important as Bristol City are also fighting relegation, and that loss moves them bottom and the Belles out of the drop zone.

It was even at the break, although Doncaster missed 3 or 4 good chances to take the lead.

The deadlock was broken on 55 minutes, when Michelle Kerr knocked one past the keeper and it was all over for City when Meghan Frey rounded the keeper 3 minutes from time to give Doncaster all 3 points.

It could have been more in the 2nd half with the Belles missing a staggering 3 one-on-ones with the City keeper.

But luckily for the Belles, Kerr and Frey were on target to haul Rovers out of the drop zone and one step close to safety.

Will the Belles avoid relegation or will the inevitably get the drop? Give your thoughts and opinions HERE on the Message Board.
