Torres Can Adapt to his National Side
By Mighty Reds June 4 2008
Fernando Torres is hoping to transfer his club form to Spain’s Euro campaign by adapting his style of play to the National sides. Spain will play the USA on Wednesday in what will be their last chance, before the Euros, to iron out any deficiencies.

Torres said:

"It is obvious that the football is different from the Premier League, more vertical and long passes, but those of us who come back from abroad we need to adapt to the national team," he explained.

"In my case I am the one that needs to adapt myself to the way the team players and not the other way round. If this team is united and works as a unit, we can achieve great things.

Using the same pinciple of how well Gerrard does for England, who cares how well Torres does for Spain?

There's no way back Tom. No press release, no statement, no transfer coup, you could provide a birth certificate proving you're the illegitimate son of Bill Shankly and Billy Liddell's daughter and all it would do in Liverpool is confirm you're a ba*stard.
