Rhondda Cynon Taff Council has opened a new Sporting Hall of Fame to celebrate the sporting achievements of local sportspeople from within the County. The ceremony which took place at Hawthorn Leisure Centre, near Pontypridd saw a huge array of past and present sportspeople honoured from a variety of sports.
Dragons D.S.C. assistant Coach David Roberts was included in the Hall of Fame for his successes at two Paralympic Games, Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004 which has seen him collect a total of seven Gold medals, four Silver Medals and one Bronze medal.
