Tranmere Rovers striker, Gary Jones, might be leaving to go to the lower division, to join Ian Rush at Chester City. The out-of-favour versatile player is set to leave Rovers for his hometown club.
It has been rumoured that Tranmere Striker, Gary Jones is set to leave the club.
It was originally thought that other Rovers striker Eugene Dadi might be leaving for the League Two outfit.
Gary Jones has played on two different spells for Rovers. Jones came threw the ranks at Rovers, then moving to Nottingham Forest.
But Jones didn't fit in the side, and later returned on a loan spell.
After a very successful loan period the deal was made permanent, but due to the recent form of young pairing, Iain Hume and Chris Dagnall, and Eugene Dadi beating him to the bench, Jones has found it hard to get back in the side.
