Tyrone Loran has found it hard to break into the Rvoers side after his injury, this is also due to the whole of the defence on amazing form. But now he has another challenge to succeed in the Vale side and hopefuly get Brian Little noticing him. Tyrone Loran has made a loan switch to Tranmere’s next League One Opponents Port Vale for a month. The good news for Rovers fans is that he will not be allowed to face them in the clash at Vale Park on Tuesday night.



Loran, 23 who is seen as a defender but can also play in Midfield, has made only two appearances for Rovers this season, both times as a substitute in consecutive games earlier in the season.



Since signing for Rovers from Manchester City in January 2003, Loran has previously made 51 appearances for Rovers but has been set back by a number of injuries which have continually hampered his efforts to break in to the Rovers first team, particularly this season.



It is thought that Loran was sent out on loan in order to give him some first team games and due to Tranmere’s early FA Cup exit he was eligible to play a full 90 minutes in Port Vale’s 1-nil second Round defeat at Blackpool yesterday.



Brian Little has been quoted as saying that it could only be a good thing for Tyrone to get some first team matches which may suggest that when his loan finishes he will have the chance to return to Prenton Park and fight for a place in the first team. The advantage for Loran being that there are number of positions where he can try to make his mark on the team.
