Ronnie Moore Pre-Millwall: "We Need A Run Of Wins"
By Deadly Submarine October 10 2008
Ronnie Moore gave his pre-match views to Tranmere World ahead of the visit to Prenton Park tomorrow of Kenny Jackett's Millwall and stressed the need to put together a run of wins as Rovers are yet to win (or indeed lose) back to games this season so far.

Ronnie Moore told Tranmere World that his side need to put together a run of wins by increasing their consistency ahead of the visit of Millwall to Prenton Park on Saturday afternoon.

Moore told Tranmere World..........

"We're playing pretty well at the moment.  We're looking forward to a home game against Millwall.  They've won five out of six so it won't be easy, but if we play to our potential we're more than a match for anybody."

"A run of four or five wins does help. That's what we need to do.  We've got a lot of games in this month and a lot of points to go for.  I like to think that by the end of the month we're going to be at least in one of the Play Off positions."

Ronnie Moore

"Kenny [Jackett] has a good, strong side there who work hard.  The two lads up front will be a handful.  We know what they're about and we have to make sure we defend well when we come under the cosh."

"I know what the side's going to be. It's up to those lads who come in to do well, the opportunity is there for them.  It leaves us a bit short on the bench, because Ian (Goodison) and Eddy (Sonko) are missing (on International Duty) and Craig (Curran) is struggling with a groin strain."
