Tranmere Rovers have today extended the loan spell of defender Ryan Shotton for a further month after an impressive first month in the white shirt.

Shotton, who is on loan at Tranmere from Premier League new boys Stoke City, has already become a firm hit with the fans at Prenton Park, where his defensive brilliance and goal scoring ability has firmly secured his place in the Tranmere team at the moment, ahead of fellow defenders Gareth Edds, Godwin Antwi and Danny Holmes.

A Good move to be honest!

With Edds injured a lot and Antwi not that good (it would seem) then we need Shotton for as long as possible really!
