Another young, talented goalkeeper, Joe Collister is a year younger than Peter Kennedy and as a result is yet to gain much Reserve team or U-18 experience, as Kennedy currently wears the gloves in that regard.

Nonetheless though, Collister is equally as talented as Kennedy and also has the capabilities to go on and become a first team professional for Tranmere Rovers in the future.

A first year scholar, signing in the summer of 2008, Collister is slightly taller than Kennedy and is also a very strong shot stopper, particularly when the ball is heading for the top corners.

A good kicker, the young goalkeeper organises his defence very well and is capable of pulling off some stunning saves.
