Ronnie Post-Match - "We Deserved the Win"
By Deadly Submarine September 14 2008
In his post-match comments, Ronnie Moore felt his side deserved the 2-1 away win at Huddersfield yesterday afternoon although he did admit that the home side were the better side for the opening 25 minutes of the game in the period where they took the lead.

Following the 2-1 away win at Huddersfield on Saturday, Ronnie Moore told Tranmere World that he thought his side were the deserved winners.

He told Tranmere World............

"I thought we deserved the win.  We rode our luck a little early on but we were competitive.  We gave away a sloppy goal from the free kick with the wall not being organised properly, but from there we were the better side."

"We looked dangerous from set plays and open play.  We've come from behind to win and we've got an away win at last, hopefully now we'll kick on."

"Danny [Coyne] made three or four saves to keep us in the game and once we got our noses in front we were very professional.  They threw four up front but we dealt with it very well."

"Ryan [Shotton] is a superb player.  He has defended well and he's always a threat.  For 25 minutes they were the better side, but after that we were."
