Huddersfield Town (A) Match Discussion Thread
By Deadly Submarine September 13 2008
As Rovers take on Huddersfield Town this afternoon at the Galpharm Stadium, readers who have been unable to travel to the game can use this thread on our Message Forum to discuss the Rovers game as it progresses, as well as other results in League One and around the rest of the country.
Huddersfield Town Match Discussion Thread

At Total Tranmere, we always like to take note of feedback from the users of the site and respond to it in the best way we can.  One thing we have picked up on more recently is that after Tranmere games there seem to be a lot of different threads that get started about the same game.

As a result of this feedback, from now on we will be introducing Match Threads for every occasion when Tranmere play.

Tranmere are of course at away to Huddersfield Town today but if you're not going to the game, why not join in the banter right here while the game is going on?

Stadium Huddersfield

Maybe if you have a friend or family member texting you from the game you can post their views here for others to see as the game progresses.  Or why not post the line-ups or anything else you can think of.

Why not also use this facility to discuss other games and scores that kick-off at 3.00pm which may or may not have an effect on Tranmere too.

What you discuss below is up to you but hopefully it can all be focused on one thread to make it easier for everyone to use.

Chorley is @#$%& brilliant. He completely dominated in the air today and made some crucial blocks and tackles, none more so than in the first half where he blocked what looked to be a certain goal.

Ronnie got his tactics and selection spot on, despite what I said before the game, as I was very confused as how a team who had been conceding goals left, right and centre (well, right and right only when Antwi plays!) could play such an attacking line-up, with Moore, Sonko, Savage and Greenacre all playing. But fair play, it worked, and it worked a treat.

In the first half, we were awful. An absolutely woeful, appauling display, but we got the goal late on and after that never looked like losing. We were the only team in it really in the second half, creating bags of chances and in all honesty we could have had a couple more goals.

Roll on Peterborough!
