A Full House?
Tranmere to Host Liverpool
Tranmere will host Liverpool in a pre-season friendly at Prenton Park on the 12th July. The Liverpool game is the first of three friendlies to be played at Prenton Park the others being Blackpool and Bolton.
It will be the first time the two sides have met since the FA Cup quarter final in 2001, when Liverpool beat Tranmere 4-2 in a highly entertaining game. The last friendly between the two sides was played way back in 1993.
Tranmere manager Ronnie Moore told the Clubs Official Website.....
"This is a mouth watering opportunity for our players to test themselves against some world class opposition who have played at the very top level."
"It's a game I know both sets of supporters will look forward to and I'm sure there will be a bumper crowd."

Rafael Benitez's Side Visit Prenton Park on July 12th
"We are grateful to Liverpool for agreeing to play us and look forward to welcoming them to Prenton Park. It should be a fantastic occasion and it is a great way to start our pre-season campaign."
It is yet to be confirmed what will happen with the freindly against Cammell Lairds which was also scheduled for this date, although we do expect that the Tranmere youth team will still take on Holyhead on the same date.
The ticket details will be announced next week and we will bring you the information on this right here on Total Tranmere as it becomes available.
