There’s no doubt of the class and skill of Deco but many Chelsea fans are concerned that Scolari´s 2^nd signing (or first since being appointed) is a direct like-for-like replacement for Lampard. 

The fee is more or less what Lampard would go for if he decides to join Inter and a two year deal is what Chelsea are rumoured to be offering Lampard - the player himself wants a new four year contract. 

Will a compromise be made between Lampard and Chelsea – say a 3 year deal? Or does the Deco signing mean that Lampard is already gone?  Or does Scolari want BOTH Lampard and Deco and run a rotating midfield of Deco, Ballack and Lampard?
