DIDIER DROGBA
What´s interesting about the report is that the writer is Giscard Gourizro who is the President of Drogba´s fan club meaning this is a definite move by Drogba to make his feelings clear.
Drogba was thought to be a dead cert to reunite with José Mourinho at Inter.
"I have a contract with Chelsea until 2010, so I am still a Chelsea player.”
"Mourinho is my friend and I am happy for him because he was missing coaching.”
"He is a top coach but, like I said, my contract here runs until 2010."

Then the Ivorian hitman went on to talk about the sending off incident in Moscow;
"I am really disappointed with myself."
"I lost my head completely and I let the team down. I should not have reacted in that way.
"I let myself down, the Chelsea fans, my homeland - but that is life.
"I have now lost three finals. One Uefa Cup (with Marseille), an African Nations Cup and now the Champions League, but that is football.
"Hopefully I will win the next one."I don’t include myself in those that are prepared to see the back of Drogba at Stamford Bridge. Of course, he is petulant, a bit of a drama queen and at times, appears to have an ego the size of Africa BUT I would miss him greatly.
In my view, he’s the best centre-forward in the world and Didier Drogba the man, does have his softer, more humble side; He takes great interest in charity and is active in a lot of development work in his native Ivory Coast – something which receives little publicity (Yes, but what has that got to do with him on the pitch? - Ed).
How much Kenyon will be influenced by Drogba´s apparent desire to start again at Stamford Bridge may be another matter; Our chief executive has almost certainly been engaged in negotiations with both Milan and Inter over a series of players, that in some cases all three clubs are interested in and Drogba´s destiny may well be tied up in that.
Kenyon has been quite clever in pushing our forward more towards Milan than Inter and Inter is Drogba´s best option outside Chelsea - this may have more to do with Drogba´s wish to stay at Chelsea than we think? Or has the Scolari factor perhaps caused a change of heart?
The effect of Drogba staying or going will have a chain reaction on the signing or not signing of various players for some of Europe’s top clubs.

Personally I will be happy to see Drogba go, but we must sign a top class striker to replace him. Eto is good but a little worried about his size. A little too small for the Prem Lge I think.

When Drogba got sent off again Man U in the final, I was sick to stomach because of him. He takes a good penalty and doing what he did by striking another player was suicidal for my team.

His constant wingeing over the last 3 or 4 years in newspapers overseas summed huim up as a petulant spoilt brat with no thought to his teamates. Quite digusting.

I must also state that Anelka also worries me, as he seems to have not enthusiasm for his job.
Seems to me he is there for the dough and really is yesterdays man.
