The charitable organisation that is Chelsea Football Club reared its UGLY head at the Riverside last night as the Champions crashed to a shocking 2-1 defeat against Gareth Southgate's men who were surely recovering from their own embarrassment at the hands of Reading last weekend.

As you know the 'Boro were 2-0 up and cruising, but lost the game 3-2.

Putting last night's result into perspective, Reading or Middlesbrough to become 2006/07 Premiership Champions. Highly unlikely maybe but I think you get my drift.

I had three goalscorers in my Sun Dream Team last night: The Shev, Bullard and Cahill. I couldn't even break into a smile, that is how depressed I was listening to the rubbish being played in front of me on the radio.

Things started so well when The Shev put Chelsea in front after sixteen minutes, I thought here we go even right up to the point when Lampard hit the bar with a header in the second-half. But Ferreira's clumsy foul, which earned him a booking changed all that and from the resulting free-kick 'Rickity' Ricky Carvalho left his marker all alone and Pogatetz stole in to score with a firm header.

Right on time defending like a pub team 'Boro's Mark Viduka poked in the winner and I just felt like throwing myself in the Riverside river. Let's make no bones about this, I was so convinced that lightning wouldn't strike twice and being bitten twice wouldn't happen (after the events of last year), I have to eat humble pie and doth my cap to Gareth Southgate and his men. 'Boro's fans though are a different breed.

With the Champions in town and memories of last season's famous victory, Boro's fans turned their back on the club and less than 30,000 turned up to watch another famous victory.

Jose!! Now is the time to start earning your money and get down to persuading Willie G to stay. Get him in your office, sort him out and get him back in the side to play alongside JT, as I am afraid Ricky 'Rickity' Carvalho is fast becoming a serious liability. Since he scored his 'wonder' goal against Man Ure last season, Rickity is playing on it and looks so suspect you could get Ray Winstone to nick him for impersonating a football player.

Did the 'Roon's' studs make that much of an impact??

Bring back Willie G for the Blackburn game or you could seriously be looking at another defeat come 6pm on Sunday night!!

LATEST NEWS:

G14 has struck again. Chelsea have been drawn against Barcelona in Group A of the Champions League. Chelsea's other opponents are Werder Bremen and Levski Sofia.

How the hell Liverpool and Emirates XI were afforded top seeds status is completely beyond me? G14 STRIKES BACK!!

COME ON CHELSEA!
