Burnley sign Dutchman Remco van der Schaaf on a three year deal following his surprise release from Vitesse Arnhem at the end of the season. The former Netherlands Under 21 midfielder was pictured on the official site with Owen Coyle holding the number 26 shirt.

A year later injury hit but despite this he has just had a successful season and so it was a surprise when his contract was not renewed. He will join the Clarets as they set off for their American tour tomorrow. Link: Burnley FC Photos |
Remco started his career with Arnhem back in 1997 before moving onto PSV Eindhoven in 2002 where he played in the Champions League before moving back to Arnhem in 2005.Bookmark or share this story with:
