Chris starred in the successful under 19 team that got to the Scottish Youth Cup Final in season 04-05 and made his first team debut in the penultimate game of that season against Ross County at Love Street where he kept a clean sheet.

Chris is a commanding presence for such a young keeper, and celebrated an excellent season by signing a contract extension in April 2005.
