Coyne Joins Clarets

Welsh international goalkeeper Danny Coyne has been signed on a free transfer by Championship side Burnley. Despite having a year left on his Leicester City contract Coyne has now joined the Turf Moor on a three year deal.

Welsh international goalkeeper Danny Coyne has been signed on a free transfer by Championship side Burnley. Despite having a year left on his Leicester City contract Coyne has now joined the Turf Moor on a three year deal.
The 30-year-old is new manager Steve Cotterill's third signing since taking over the reigns from Stan Ternant.
During his time at Leicester Coyne made just two starts for the club with Ian Walker standing between him and the first team.
Despite his lack of first team action the goalkeeper did manage to gain two caps for Wales in the friendlies against Norway and Canada in May.
We wish Danny all the best at his new club and let's hope he's a key figure for their first team.
