Freddie Eastwood is still joining Coventry City. Really he is. Oops! Eleventh hour snag again. He's not, again. Surprisingly for a footballer, the problem is over money, that he thinks Wolves owe him, while Wolves say the problem is with Coventry City. The problem is with Wolves.

Leon Best is still interesting Nottingham Forest, as is Stephen Hughes (Know doubt if the latter joins them, he will become a class player, but you can't hold onto people just to stop others having them .... unless you're Chelsea). The original bid of £600,000 for Best, made in January, is rumoured to be nearer £2 million now, which just goes to show what a bunch of urine-takers they were being.

Nobody wants Kevin Kyle. While he might not be the White Pele, his displays since joining us were no worse than Luca Toni's, and he's an Italian international. So, Mick McCarthy, if you're reading this, please take him off our hands. In fact there's a few players you can have for not very much....

And the rumoured fixture against Premiership opposition looks to be off because RR fears making a loss if the normal dismal attendance of around 8,000 is all we can manage.
