Lincoln City fans already know the story about Peter Jackson's cancer battle earlier on this year, however, not a lot of people know if wasn't his first brush with the disease. In an interview conducted with FourFourTwo magazine, Peter Jackson reveals that he has cancerous cells in his lip in August 2007 and that he has a history of cancer in his family.
It's one of several subjects that Jackson discusses in this month's issue of FourFourTwo. Other subjects include how he got the job at City, his hopes for the current season and his outlook on life.
The article also features a quote from Keith Alexander, himself a sufferer of poor health during his stint at Sincil Bank.
The interview is available in the current issue of FourFourTwo and can be found on page 120.
