CONFIRMED : Neil Harvey will play at Sincil Bank
By Nathan Jackson June 27 2008
After months of speculation, it was today confirmed that Neil Harvey will play at Sincil Bank next season. The striker has been an Imps target since a trial towards the end of the season and it was believed that Jackson was interested....it's just a pity Macclesfield Town got there first.

Harvey scored a stunner on trial for the Imps against Grimsby Town, hitting a volley in from the corner of the box. It turned out to be pretty irrelevant due to the game finishing 3-2 to the Mariners, but Harvey had certainly grabbed the Imps attention.

Keith Alexander, always known for plucking some good players out of non-league, has signed him for Macclesfield Town and he will play at Sincil Bank next season, it's a pity that it won't be in the red and white.

I read that and thought he had signed, only for you to callously smash my dreams in two!

A thousand curses on you Nathan.

Ka was known for plucking good players from non-league. He was also known for signing lots of them and never giving them a chance to prove themselves in the first team. wonder which this lad will be.

Lets not get too disappointed. After all he was playing for Retford not Real Madrid.

He may play at Sincil Bank. He will not if he is injured, suspended or plain not good enough.
