Moseley v London Welsh Third bottom Moseley could secure the National One status for a second season with a win over 12th placed London Welsh at home this Saturday. Moseley were winners last time out and moved above Otley and are three points clear of the Yorkshire. If they win this match and Otley lose at Exeter Chiefs they are safe going into the final match of the season. London Welsh have lost two of their last three matches and are just a point clear of 13th placed Sedgley Park. On the road the Welsh have managed four wins and a draw in their 14 matches to date. When the sides met at Old Deer Park earlier in the season Moseley were 13-6 away day winners at they look to do the double over the Welsh. Prediction: Home win by eight for Moseley as they secure their National One league status.
Bedford Blues v Plymouth Albion Seventh placed Bedford Blues entertain fourth placed Plymouth Albion at Goldington Road looking to maintain their good recent form. Bedford Blues are looking to make it three wins in a row and have shown good form lately with five wins in their last six matches. At home they have an impressive record to date this season with 12 wins and a draw from their 14 matches and only Earth Titans have left with a win. Plymouth Albion saw their three match winning run come to an end last Saturday as they look to hold of Cornish Pirates and Exeter Chiefs to finish fourth in the table, they are both four points adrift of Albion. Exeter Chiefs have won five of their last six matches to climb the table and with Plymouth Albion having a tough away match at Bedford Blues could end the day in fourth place. Otley are on a dreadful run and slipped into the relegation zone last Saturday and have a mountain to climb to escape. They have just two away wins all season against Waterloo and Sedgley Park. At Cross Green earlier in the season Exeter Chiefs were comfortable 34-3 winners in this fixture. Prediction: Home win for the Chiefs by 12 points as the condemn Otley to relegation.
Doncaster v Waterloo Third placed Doncaster take on bottom of the table Waterloo looking for the win which would guarantee third place for them with one match remaining. Doncaster are looking to make it five wins in six matches to continue their excellent season which could actually see them finish second if they were to win their two remaining matches and the Titans came unstuck in both theirs. Waterloo are down but are looking for a third away win of the season having already won at Exeter Chiefs and Moseley earlier in the season. When the sides met earlier in the season at Blundellsands Doncaster were comfortable 44-0 winners. Prediction: Comfortable home win for Doncaster by 15 points over bottom of the table Waterloo.
Leeds Tykes v Earth Titans Champions Leeds Tykes take on second placed Earth Titans looking to celebrate the title in style. Leeds Tykes are looking to make it 14 wins in a row at Headingley this season after losing on the opening day to London Welsh. Earth Titans could guarantee second place with a win at Headingley on Sunday.
