The two young Irish prospects who have been heavily linked with Reading and Doyle who scored 7 goals in 12 games including two at his last game for Cork City attracted interest from Charlton, Stone and Burnley.

Long will be eligible to play for the Reading Academy this season but chances are he could feature in Coppell's plans this season if necessary.
