| Impressions Of The Ground | |
|
Although a fairly new stadium the New Den
opened in 1993. It is a smart looking ground with all four stands being
double tiered and of the same height. Away fans are placed in the upper
tier of the North Stand, lower tier only opened if a large away following
is expected. Although Millwall has done everything to improve its image, away
fans can still be intimated on visiting the ground. This is not really the
case anymore though, and I had an enjoyable day out at the New Den.
The ground is also used for the Sky One series 'Dream Team.' |

| Directions To The Ground |
Follow the A2 into London from Junction 2 of
the M25. The A2 actually passes the ground. Once you go past New Cross
Gate tube station on your right and the ground is about a mile further on.
The only awkward bit is about half way in between New Cross Gate and the
ground where the road splits into two. Keep to the right following the
signs A2 City/Westminster. You will come to the ground on your right. Click here for a map

| Pub Guide |
|
It is not the best idea of travelling fans
go and find a pub before or after the game.
We recommend you give it a miss or if coming by train have a drink outside Millwall on the way to the ground. |
