England Rugby Debenture Tickets, a rare opportunity to buy
Anyone who was fortunate enough to be at Twickenham Stadium for the recent England match against Wales will have seen at close hand the development of the new South Stand. Redevelopment of Twickenham Stadium began over 12 years ago and the completion of the South Stand finalises the building programme. Capacity will increase to 82,000, making the home of England Rugby one of the biggest rugby stadiums in the world.
As part of the new development, the RFU are making a limited number of debenture seats available in prime locations in the new south stand. The last time debentures were available was in 1995, when the West Stand was finished, and this could be the last opportunity to secure a seat at Twickenham.
Debentures are common at sports stadia around the world and Twickenham has debentures located all around the stadium. They guarantee the owner the right to purchase tickets to every single rugby union match held at the stadium for the next ten years.
Paul Vaughan, RFU Business Operations Director said,
"The new South Stand will host some of the best facilities in the stadium with a Virgin Active Classic Leisure Club, a Mariott hotel and extensive banqueting and hospitality space. When the development is complete, Twickenham will truly be a world class stadium with world class facilities. Debentures are always in demand and are rarely available for purchase, so the new development offers a great opportunity for fans to secure their place at every single England match for the next ten years, as well as the other matches held at the stadium from international sevens to the domestic cup and league finals."
