Izzet to buzz off?

Reports have it that City's Turkish midfielder Muzzy Izzet could be set to retire after persistent injury have unsettled his Blues career . Rumours suggest that he has already retired and could be announced in the next week or two.

"There are considerations with Muzzy. He's come to the point where his knee is very, very painful and he can't fulfil what he wants to do."


Sky's the limit

Birmingham city have had a game selected to feature live on Sky Sports which is rumoured to be worth around £45,000 for Birmingham and Stoke. the game is to be on the 12th of August at the Britannia stadium with the kick-off having been bought forward to 12:45.

Southampton to sign king Kenny

Former Blues favorite Kenny Cunningham is set to sign for Southampton following his likely release from the blues . Kenny went from hero to villain at the end of the season leaving by criticising the gaffer.

New staff

Steve Bruce is hoping to make a new addition to his backroom team. with former Rotherham gaffer Mick Harford the favorite. Brucie said :-

"We do look a bit threadbare in terms of staff," admitted the manager. Unfortunately, we had to let Terry go due to financial implications.

"But Benno's decision came out of the blue and now I'm hoping that I can bring someone in."

Dann's Just wants to play...

In a interview with Phil Parkinson he declared that Danns will be a success with Birmingham City and gave the transfer his approval.

"Neil took a drop in wages to come and play for Colchester and there was never any argument about his pay packet," said Parkinson. "All he ever wanted to do was play football and he has a huge hunger to succeed.

"Neil is obviously a very powerful lad but his biggest attribute is that he can finish with both feet. He has this knack of getting in the penalty area at just the right time and then he can produce a fantastic finish. As well as his ability in front of goal, Neil also possesses excellent individual skill, which enables him to go past players."
