By Todd Grainger January 3 2006
Last week we broke the story about Robert Earnshaw joining the Birmingham as we look for a striker, and this week he has added fuel to the flames.

Robert Earnshaw handed his second transfer request in on Wednesday 28th December , which was turned down and it is now believed that the striker the blues have been "tracking" is set to become Steve Bruces 1st janurary signing if Pandiani leaves Earnshaw who has an impresive scoring record in the premiership is reportedly worth about £2,000,000 . Robson said :- "With Diomansy Kamara and Kanu leaving for African Nations Cup duty in January I'll need all of my strikers." Robson added: "I've made my position very clear on this matter. We received a transfer request from Earnie two weeks ago which I turned down. "Earnie has submitted another transfer request in the past few days which I have also turned down. Earnie has just got to knuckle down and fight for his place." Earnshaw came from Cardiff City for £3.5m and his goals helped Albion avoid relegation last season.
