July 26 2006
In part 9 of our IN FOCUS series we look at recently relegated Sunderland. With their new manager and chairman in place it looks like it could be a promising season for Sunderland , as they look to rebound straight back to the Premiership.

NOTE : Remember this is only my point of view and i do not know your club inside out so if there's minor things wrong it's not the end of the world.

Manager : Niall Quinn

Key Player(s) : Arca

Tipped by the bookies for : Auto Promotion.

05/06 season : Last season Sunderland were pathetic . The didnt prepare well enough for life in the Premiership and it proved when they finished last and 15 points away from there nearest relegation rival West Brom . Sunderland won 1 home game last season and 2 away . They ended the season with a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Aston Villa . Sunderland finished 24 points away from safety.

This season : Sunderland have the quality still in there ranks that got them promoted 2 seasons ago and they should have a good attempt this year..

They’ll finish higher if : Jon Stead can actually score more than 5 goals.

What www.bluenose.tk Predict's : 5th .
