In part 7 of our IN FOCUS series we look at Stoke City who have seen there Ex-manager return to the club , and have a striker who has gone crazy and not returned to join in Stokes pre-season campaign.

NOTE : Remember this is only my point of view and i do not know your club inside out so if there's minor things wrong it's not the end of the world.

05/06 season : Stoke finished last season in 13th place last season 22 points away from the play-offs and 16 off relegation zone . remarkably Stoke had a better away win record than they did home wins . By winning 10 away from home and only 7 in front of the Stoke faithful. Last season saw a big intake of foreigners at Stoke and there manager Tony Pulis leaving yet come the end of the season he returns .

This season : Stoke have a decent squad but not a proven goalscorer at this level , if crazy man Sambegou Bangoura returns he has the potential to score 15+ goals a season.

They’ll finish higher if : They can get a midfielder than can chip in with 8 + goals a season
