Ivor Mornar ready for Pompey move

Anderlecht striker Ivor Mornar has told the world that he'd love a move to Fratton Park with Portsmouth and is waiting for the two involved parties to reach an agreememnt.

'I hope both teams come to an agreement this week,' Mornar told The News. 'I want to leave because I can earn much more elsewhere - although I still play with my heart in every match for Anderlecht.

'I was relegated to fourth striker at the beginning of the season but have fought and have helped the club. I hoped Anderlecht would do more to keep me as I would have liked to stay.

'But I asked for a three-year contract and got a two-year offer.'

Ivor Mornar has also claimed to have had a verbal offer from Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers but would prefer a move to Fratton Park.

Pompey have also been pursuing American international Landon Donovan.
