Brazier captained Liverpool to the Youth Cup in 1995, in a team that included Jamie Carragher and Michael Owen. He then played for Tranmere Rovers, Notts County and Rochdale before coming to The Motormen. Phil started 48 games this season and played in every game in the great cup run, in fact 1 of his 2 goals of the season was the equaliser against QPR at Loftus Road in 1st rd replay. Phil follows ex-team mate Gregg Blundell who joined Northwich a few years ago. His departure will probably mean that Kevin Lynch gets the captains armband, it was he who took it temporarily when Phil was rested towards the end of the season. Although Craig Robinson looks every bit of a leader for the future.
Phil will be missed by The Motormen even more so because Motors New Boy Mike Tomlinson is injured, Craig Robinson is suspended for the opening game of the season, Matt Haddrell moved to Macclesfield Town and Danny Collins went back to Chester in December.
But good look to Phil from everyone at www.vauxhallmotors.tk
