Garden Village made the long journey to Blaenau Gwent on Saturday but were rewarded with the three points after a fine display against mid-table Tredegar Town. It was also the first time in five matches that Village were able to keep a clean sheet.

Ashley Richards got the ball rolling in the first-half as his two strikes gave the visitors a nice advantage going into half-time while Nigel Rogers struck his second goal for the club to wrap up the win.

The result has seen Village move up a place into sixth, and we are now just 9 points off the promotion places with 12 points left up for grabs after some result favoured us on the day. Our run-in includes matches against ENTO Aberaman (A) who are third, Croesyceiliog (H) who are second and Garw (H) who occupy fourth spot.
