Garden Village suffered a home defeat for the first time since the beginning of January when local rivals Morriston came to Stafford Common on Easter weekend.

The visitors, who included former Swansea City winger Jonathan Coates in their line-up, took the lead just after the hour with a fierce strike and then doubled their advantage 15 minutes from the end when experienced substitute Dean Beniamous struck from the edge of the box.

Steven Evans did pull one back for the home side, who were unchanged after Wednesday's win over Pontyclun, deep into injury-time but it is Morriston who will have the bragging rights after this result.
