A first-half strike from Corries' Geraint Passmore condemned Garden Village to their second successive defeat at the Riverside Ground in Radyr on Saturday afternoon.

Village, who are without second top-scorer Paul Dickie for a few matches, also lost defender David Rimmer through injury during the match but a debut was handed to midfielder Michael Donne. The player first joined the club in March 2003 but left at the end of that season; he joined league rivals Ammanford at the start of this season and his other clubs include Neath and Briton Ferry.

This defeat has seen Village drop one place into 8th, below next Saturday's opponents Morriston Town, but we do have three games in hand over our Swansea rivals.
