Garden Village's seven-match unbeaten run was brought to an end by league leaders Pontypridd, who are unbeaten all season, at Stafford Common on Saturday.

Paul Dickie had given Village the lead on 26 minutes, heading home from a Dayle Selvage corner, but the visitors equalised soon afterwards from a Chris Summers free-kick. Pontypridd then scored what was to be their winner on the hour but Village kept on fighting and had a few opportunities to equalize but the experienced Ynysangharad Park men held on to win.
