Final Four National Championships
By BSUK August 21 2004
British baseball's Final 4 Series begins with the main event, the BBF National League Final 4 over August Bank Holiday Weekend. The best four National League baseball teams from the 2004 season will battle it out in a knockout system for the honour of being crowned 2004 National Champions.
FINAL FOUR NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS, 28-29 AUGUST, BRIGHTON

Defending Champions Windsor Bears won the National League South title this year and will be joined by London Warriors, Croydon Pirates and the National League North winner, still to be decided between Liverpool Trojans and Menwith Hill Patriots.

The event, held at Brighton Buccaneers' Pavilion Field on Saturday and Sunday, is UK baseball's biggest spectator event and a great chance to see the cream of the BBF Leagues at one venue, for a low price. Running alongside the National League Final 4 will be the Premier Division Final 4, the second-tier championships, featuring two teams from the north and two from the south.

So, over two days, spectators will be treated to eight teams and eight daylight games. It is expected that the TV cameras from Five's Major League Baseball coverage will be there again, as will the popular MLB Roadshow which allows the kids to try out their skills in the famous inflatable batting cage and pitching tunnel.

There'll be catering, ice cream and donuts and the opportunity to win a trip to the World Series in the BSUK raffle.

And all in the breathtaking setting of Brighton's home field in the Waterhall Valley:

The weekend is just part of the series of baseball championships which run until mid-September. On 11-12 September in Manchester, the Youth Final 4 will feature eight of the best Youth League baseball teams, and over 18-19 September the third-tier Division 1 Final 4 runs in Halton.
