Claudio Caniggia has threatened Rangers that he will sign for another club if he does not get an extended contract.

The 36 year old Argentinean internationalist is still hoping to continue his career.

Caniggia has been told he wont giving a new contract until the summer as Rangers cant afford to give out contracts at the moment.

There has been a lot of talk of Caniggia coming back.

Caniggia is still friends with people at Dens and regularly comes to Dens for visit's to the staff and players who he has made friends with.

So there is a good chance Caniggia will be back.

Caniggia has told the Rangers fanzine, Rangers news that he would like his future sorted by March.

He will decide what he is going to do next month as he aint going to wait until the summer.

He confirmed though he could go to America as he's had offers from there but hopefully Caniggia could be persuaded to join Dundee.

Caniggia went on to say he's had other offer's of a more standard level of Football which he may take.

Caniggia never mentioned where this club is but hopefully it'll be Dundee.
