The Timbers fail once again in Cascadia Cup play. Seattle is too much for the Timbers as play with 10 in the second half. This is the sixth league play loss in a row.

Seattle wins for the second night in a row and move to the top of the Cascadia Cup play,  Portland was in the match early as forward Oral Bullen hit the post twice. It did not take lone for Seattle to get on board. Seattle forward Cam Weaver scored in the 10th minute of play. In the 17th minute Portland was awarded a kick from the spot. Midfielder Luke Kreamalmeyer of portland converted the kick. Seattle went ahead for good as seattle's Roger Leveque put in a rebound off the cross bar. Just before the half Portland defender was sent off for a punch after a hard tackle on Seattle's Midfielder Leighton O'Brien.
The Timbers were never a match after this. Seattles last goal was scored in the 57th minute by Maykel Galindo. Seattle moves to the top of the Cascadia Cup table and the Timbers will finnish last for the first time.
