Megson: "Saving forest would be career highlight."
By TheGloryDays.co.uk April 28 2005
Reds boss Gary Megson has stated that saving Nottingham Forest from relegation would be the biggest achievement so far in his managerial career. The Reds are four points adrift of safety with just two games left on the cards.

Gary Megson managed to save former cub West Browich Albion from relegation on two seperate occasions before managing to steer the club to promotion in 2002 and 2004. But he has however stated that saving Forest from the drop this season would be a much bigger feat than any of these.

"I think taking Stockport to eighth in the First Division was not a bad achievement

"And keeping West Brom up in 1999-2000 before winning them promotion to the Premiership - twice - was not bad either.

"But given the circumstances, yes, I think keeping Forest up would probably be the biggest achievement of my managerial career so far."
