The Reds still have a glimmer of hope left after beating Burley 1-0 at the City Ground yesterday afternoon. The ever-loyal Nottinghamshire born Kris Commons the only name on the scoresheet come 90 mins.
A brave performance from The Reds saw them live to fight another day in The Championship. It is still possibly that Wednesday night ties with Bristol City may not become a bleak reality for Forest next season.

Kris Commons was on the scoresheet for The Reds. He smashed the ball into the back of Burnley's the score the only goal of the game. The ever-loyal Nottinghamshire born young superstar securing all three points for the Tricky Trees capitalizing on a defensive error and latching onto the loose ball.

Gary Megson was extremely pleased with the result, as were the fans - many of whom are now believing that relegation is no longer inevitable; with Crewe Alexander on the receiving end of a defeat on Saturday afternoon.

The Reds will go into their next game full of confidence and determination. Detirmined to win back the support of the fans of whom many have turned on the team in recent weeks and who must be praised for even bothering to turn up due to our player's disgraceful off-field antics.

Andy Reid has expressed his sorrow at Forest bleak position and player's such as David Friio must be wondering what is happening to their new "bigger club."

A return to the pre-Clough era? let us hope not. Relegation would see Forest in their most lowly position for a very long time.
