Burnley (H) - Match Preview
By Michael Lynch April 24 2005
Bristol City on a Wednesday night, anyone? Realistically that is the type of match we are to be playing next season as Forest are all but mathematically down, and anything less than a win would see Forest relegated for sure.

This season is at an end and after wasting my money, yet again, on a season ticket - I am still wondering where all the extra cash has gone. Mr. Arthur took our money claiming that it was to help us purchase the players that were needed for a promotion push, then it was Mr. Kinnear's "Top 10 by Christmas!" And now it's Mr. Megson stating that only a miracle could keep Forest up.

If Forest don't get all three points from all their remaining fixtures then we will be spending next season in the depths of League One. Possibly in mid-table; it's not an easy league to escape from. One might say: "inescapabale." Take Sheffield Wednesday or the MK Dons as in example. (Although I wouldn't say we're as bad as the Dons.)

Anywway, I can almost certainly say that our beloved Reds are going down tomorrow - much the joy of the Sheep-Lovers. The only thing left to hope for is an angel to visit Gary Megson in a dream and bless him with Cloughie's motivational skills and a bit of God's magic... Or more realitically, just pray that Derby don't succeed where we failed a couple of seasons back. The playoffs.

So what do you think of Forest's "chances" of staying up and life in League One next season, should the worst happen?

John Swift, Forest Fan: "The worst has happened already, it is now inevitable, all resistance is futile. The players are a disgrace. You seen today's mirror?"

TDG: I don't read that crap...

JS: "well 12 of our players have been caught being drunk and disorderly. Breaking glasses etc. A disgrace."

TDG: In one word sum up Alan Rogers. Maybe two... should be fun.

JS: "Fat ....."

Figure that one out.
