New assistant manager Mick Harford has spoken out that Forest are not in crisis yet and is convinced they can still beat the drop.

Speaking to Forest World Harford said, "I'm devastated about the losses we have suffered since I came to the Club but there's no crisis yet. There's still a hell of a lot of points to play and I believe that if we add to the squad, we've got enough players to get ourselves out of trouble and build for next season."

Harford has also said that he is delighted at the response he has had from the players since he arrived 3 weeks ago, "The players have applied themselves very well. They have tried to apply everything I have done with them."

But he also recognises the need to bring in new players for a survival push in the 2nd half of the season, "Myself and the rest of the staff know we need to improve the squad, know we need to bring in players for the push at the end of the season and that's of paramount importance."
