Mark McGeown has landed the task of being the first goalie for the 'new' Airdrie. In recent years the 'old' Airdrie has such luminairies as Johnny Martin, Javier Sanchez Broto and Allan Ferguson. Will McGeown be ranked up there or be down there with the Andy Rhodes and Scott Thomsons of this world?
Certainly Mark McGeown has bags of experience in Divisions One and Two to call upon having served with Stirling for almost a decade, Stranraer, Raith and had a spell playing in Ireland.
