Clan Chief
I turned up at Broomfield this week for the penultimate game of the season fully expecting the Diamonds to rub salt into Thistle’s deep relegation wounds but it was us who were left battered and bruised by a Thistle side who had nothing to play for but pride and you would have been forgiven for thinking that we were the team heading for second division oblivion.
Make no mistake we were awful and on this showing we are in need of some drastic changes. Its now time for Sandy to prove to everyone what he is capable of as a manager because some difficult decisions have now got to be taken, there can be no room for sentiment when it comes to choosing who will be leaving the club in the summer.
We seem to be ending the season with a whimper, which is disappointing but I suppose I shouldn’t be to harsh on my team as we have come along way in three seasons and I’m sure that most Diamonds would have settled for consolidation before the season began.
