Injuries have once again taken its toll on the Airdrie squad and for this
we have suffered over the last two weeks. The Draw against Falkirk gave us a
point but has it cost us six in return? Our defence was devastated after the
match and we have suffered. Sandy on the other hand feels that some of our
players have to do more, especially those that are hoping to earn themselves a
new contract for next season.
Sandy has Paul Lovering and Martin Hardie returning from suspension and
it is thought that Alan McManus will be fit to return to the squad. Having not
been at the Ross County the over powering impression is that any of the players
that were on the park last week could be dropped and we wouldn’t have missed
them.
Some details concerning the match have been released to us. We will be in Spice of Life
Stand. £12 Adults £ 6 under 16s, over60, & Students with
id. Enter by turnstiles 10/11/12. Correct change will
speed up entry. Car park is for ticket holders only. There are severe
restrictions because of the Supermarket construction. Designated
parking is at County Buildings in Caird St. (5 minutes)

Hamilton Manager Allan Maitland feels a win over us will just
about secure Hamilton's First Division status.
Maitland said: "A win would take us onto 42 points which was the
target we set to secure safety at the start of the season."
Derek Ferguson and Colin Cramb are out with calf injuries while
defender Steven Thomson will miss the rest of the season due to broken
ribs.

If we win the season is over for us,
there will be no thoughts of Partick Thistle ever catching us. If Hamilton win
and Thistle beat Raith Rovers we could be in for an edgy couple of weeks leading
to the end of the season.
What's your preference mines a 2-0
win for the Diamonds. |
