Sandy Stewart has Martin Hardie, Willie McLaren, Stephen Docherty, Kevin Christie and now Neil McGowan our due to either injury or flu. During the Queen of the South game Neil McGowan felt as though he was about to lose an eye after an accidental clash. Willie McLaren will be given a late fitness test after injuring himself during training last week. Stephen Docherty although clear of injury is now suffering from flu. Kevin Christie is recovering from a groin strain injury but will not be match fit. Finally Martin Hardie is still suffering after the tumble he took at our last game at home versus Raith Rovers.
Sandy Stewart has counted this game as being one of those that will help him to secure first division football but with our injuries and Hamilton fantastic away form of late, he may have to change his thinking.

Accies come to us and with Pat Keogh the exception they have a fully fit squad and Maitland is demanding that Hamilton come away from this mach with at least a point. Hamilton as we all know are fighting a rear guard action with Partick Thistle and with this game in hand they must be hoping to open up as big a gap as possible.
Three points would see them leap above Ross County. With a good away win over St Johnstone on Saturday Hamilton have the best away form in the division. Strange that many pundits expected Hamilton to benefit from the use of the artificial surface at New Douglas Park.
Assuming Hamilton and ourselves manage to stay in the first division at the first time of asking, does this say anything about the condition of football in Scotland in general? Or am I reading to much in to this?

I can't get any info on tonight's referee but I am assuming it will be Hugh Dallas since he was supposed to take charge of the other two re-arranged fixtures.
I don't think i have to remind you of the last time Hugh Dallas took control of one of our games. For me it is the best we have performed all season and the best game I have seen. Our home win over St Mirren (3 Vs. 2). I wonder if we will be focussing on the game tonight or whether Mr Dallas will be hogging the lime light. | |

Prediction |

Once again the weather may take a huge toll on whether this game goes ahead or not, if it does I think our decent home form will continue and we will come away with three points 2 Vs. 1 to the Diamonds. |
