Clan Chief
How many times do you see a player visiting his old stomping ground with his new team and scoring? Unfortunately for the Diamonds big Martin Hardie had the dubious honour of scoring for his old club after a wicked corner deflected of his body and into the net.
I’m sure the big man wished the ground would have opened up an taken him under but he shouldn’t have worried because big Alan McManus grabbed a superb equalizer ten minute later with a brilliant header from a corner kick at the other end.
This was a rather dull affair with the weather hindering any prospect of good football. The only highlight from our trip to Firhill apart from the very important point that we gained was the performance of the Gowser who was easily the best payer on the park.
It has to said that this was the best atmosphere that I have experienced at a match this season. The rivalry between our two clubs is a healthy one and is always played in a derby style fashion. I’m sure that we will continue this into next season as I don’t see foresee the two of us being relegated. Views on other games Click here
