Sandy has a few doubts for this weekend, Alan McManus with his continuing hamstring problem managed to play his scheduled 45 minutes in the reserve squad on Wednesday. Alan Gow was taken of after receiving a knock during Saturdays game Versus St Mirren and may struggle to be fit. Stephen Docherty was also taken off early during the St Mirren game but there are no details on whether he will play or not. Lee Hollis has been ruled out of the game due to a back injury he received in training. It was rumoured earlier in the week that Stephen Docherty and Kevin Christie had reached the SFL suspension limit. Stephen will miss next weeks game versus Raith Rovers and Kevin is one booking away from being suspended. Sandy Stewart managed to win the Bells Manager of the month award for November, which shows how far Airdrie have come over the past month. The worry now is whether Sandy can over come the curse of the award, all managers who seem to win it follow it by losing one or two games. Our next two games could be massive for the team, depending of course on what happens with results else where we could end up lifting our selves to the heady heights of the fourth place. If the above players are missing from the game on Saturday does anyone think it will hamper our chances of beating St Johnstone?

St Johnstone manager John Connolly has Kevin Fotheringham, Paul Bernard, Mark Baxter and Ross Forsyth ruled out for their visit to New Broomfield. Kevin Rutkiewicz returns to the St Johnstone squad after suspension. Having scored seven goals in the last two games three against Clyde and four against Partick Thistle, St Johnstone are on the decent run at the moment. This has the makings of another fantastic game |

The first and last time we saw Charlie Richmond as the man in black was in our very first game as Airdrie United. We won that game 1-0 against Forfar with a Stephen Docherty flying header I don't think there are many who won't remember that fixture. There was only one booking during the game and it went Forfar's way. | |

Above I said that this game has a score draw written all over it, but I also think that soon a team is going to be on the receiving end of a hammering and why not tomorrow? 3-0 Airdrie |
