Sandy Stewart could lead Airdrie to our third victory on the bounce, but Hamilton seem to be our bogey team and we never know how our fixtures are going to turn out.
During our last meeting Airdrie lost 2-0 to Hamilton, it's easy to say but they won with no more than two break away goals. Airdrie are still leaking a silly goal at least per game and most will realise we more or less need to score two goals to stand a chance of going home with three points.
Sandy is hopeful to have a full squad for selection for the journey to New Douglas park but late fitness tests will be given to Alan McManus, Lee Hollis and Kevin Christie.

Hamilton and their artificial surface will be a new test for the Diamonds this week, its our first time playing on the surface so Hamilton may think they have a slight advantage going into this game.
Allan Maitland has some injury concerns to deal with before kick off. Todd Lumsden, Pat Keogh and David Hamilton are long term injuries and joining them on the side lines is Steven Convery with a thigh injury.
Hamilton are desperate for the points as they sit second bottom in the Bell's Scottish First Division having only Raith Rovers below them it looks like this is going to be a long hard season for the Accies. |

Mr Clark one of Scotland's top referees is to take charge of the game tomorrow. We have to go back to season 2001/2002 to find the last season that Kenny was in charge of an Airdrie game. It was a 2-2 draw against Clyde and we had Tony Smith and Stuart Taylor yellow carded during the match. | |

Prediction |

As usual it is going to be a difficult game but I do think the surface will allow our flare players to attack and win the game 2-1 |
